The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People was founded in 1909. The NAACP
is the nation's oldest and largest civil rights organization. From the ballot box to the classroom, the thousands of dedicated workers, organizers, leaders and members who make up the NAACP continue to fight for social justice for all Americans.
The annual Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon will be held October 7, 2017 at noon. It will be at the Northview Center at Doling Park, 301 E. Talmage. Table hostesses are needed, tables seat 8 and you just provide a dessert. Fun afternoon while raising money for the "Diva for A Cure" Walkathon team. Hat contests, raffles, fashion show, and more. Our general monthly meetings are held the Third Saturday of every Month at 1:30 pm.
The youth meetings are held the Second Saturday of every Month at 3:00 pm.
All meetings are held at Midtown Library 397 E. Central, Springfield.
